Frank Henneke, the company's founder, grew up in the Sauerland region, and no matter where he sought inspiration, he was always drawn back to his home. He found his home in Plettenberg, in the Märkischer Kreis, and laid the foundation for his company there in 1988. This was the right decision, and today Henneke stands more than ever by the motto "Made in the Sauerland" - production in Germany.

To ensure quality, craftsmanship, and tradition, we deliberately avoid outsourcing work processes. Our home region is important to us, which is why it is supported, and new jobs are created for people who do not want to miss the charm and quality of their homeland. The quality of the products is also appreciated globally, allowing Henneke Formbau GmbH to offer its products not only in Europe but also in the USA, South America, and Asia. They are and remain a medium-sized company that delivers the perfection of craftsmanship, as well as unsurpassed quality and performance.

1988
In 1988, Frank Henneke, a trained carpenter and young entrepreneur, founded Henneke Formbau GmbH. The company initially focused on the production and processing of molds for ceramic and refractory bricks, which found extensive use in heavy industry.

1994
Henneke Formbau GmbH became one of the first companies in the woodworking industry to offer CNC and CAD technology for material processing.

1997
From this point on, the company began processing and distributing the advanced material Corian®.

1999
In 1999, the company achieved the distinction of "authorized fabricator" for Corian® and became a member of DuPont®'s Quality Network.

2000
The global distribution structure developed through the specialization in Corian® processing enabled the expansion of the customer base in the mold-making business segment as well. Furthermore, Henneke Formbau GmbH gained its first customers from Luxembourg and France.

2003
DuPont® launched its first competition, inviting participants to design and implement a novel washbasin made of Corian® within a very short timeframe. This successful idea grew into a tradition in which Henneke Formbau GmbH still participates with pleasure and ambition today.

2005
Henneke Formbau GmbH supported architect Gerhard G. Feldmeyer, HPP Hentrich-Petschnigg & Partner KG, Düsseldorf, in a creative workshop in realizing his idea for an illuminated bench. The result was showcased in a Germany-wide roadshow.

Investment in a modern CAD CAM system.

Investment in 3D Software Inventor.

25th company anniversary – 25 years of experience and expertise.

Relocation from Plettenberg to Herscheid into a larger and more modern company building.
