Corian® Workshop for Master Students: Discovering Innovative Materials in Carpentry
In our annual Corian® seminar, we offer aspiring master carpenters a unique opportunity to explore the fascinating world of this versatile solid surface material. As an authorized Corian® fabricator, we organize this training in collaboration with the South Westphalia Chamber of Skilled Crafts – and repeatedly experience how Corian® elevates the creative potential and technical expertise in carpentry to new heights.

What makes Corian® so special for carpenters?
Corian® is more than just a material. It combines functionality and aesthetics in a way that is perfectly suited for many applications: kitchens, bathrooms, and prestigious interiors are just a few examples where this innovative material convinces with its versatile possibilities.
The great flexibility and unique processing possibilities that Corian® offers make it ideal for demanding carpentry work. In our three-hour workshop, we delve deep into these possibilities and convey the basics and practice of the material. In addition to technical aspects, it also covers creative applications and individual design options that are particularly exciting for aspiring master carpenters.
Practical Content and Valuable Insights
At the Vocational Training Center in Arnsberg, our experts Frank and Nico Henneke led the participants through a practice-oriented training. The aspiring master craftsmen learned about the specific properties of Corian®: its high hygiene suitability, seamless processing, and the potential for sophisticated shapes and transitions.
Illustrative materials and project examples from our company HENNEKE enabled the participants to deepen practical techniques for shaping, care, and processing. Some students are already planning to incorporate their knowledge of Corian® into their master projects – a testament to the enthusiasm and creative possibilities that the material awakens in carpentry.
